What do you believe about karma?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 03, 2008:

I am 21 years old, and I went deaf about two years ago.  I was only 19 when I went deaf.  I'm dealing with it pretty well, but it's hard for me to believe that I did something horrible enough that I was meant to go deaf and have the terrible disease, Susac's Syndrome, that made me go deaf. Gaia and Thinkarete.com have helped me overcome the situation in which I have been put due to this.

I agree! Things happen. What one is responsible for is how one deals with what happens. By responsible I don't mean some heavy “have to”. One is iiving in a space and grows spirituallly by understanding that space. One figures it out and moves on. As life is a process one does not know why things are happening until after the process is complete. But if one continues to understand the what of it, the why will likely come around sooner or later.
Best of fortune to you!!
